Jeg er spændt på at dele filmen og idéerne bag den med danskerne - og selvfølgelig også på hvordan den bliver modtaget. Mange har kun hørt en karikatur af mine meninger - ofte fra mine modstandere - så her giver filmen et friskt pust.

Og samtidig får danskerne nu muligheden for at se den film, der var udgangspunkt for balladen, men egentlig handler om noget helt andet. Filmland taler med Trier og hans fotograf, Manuel Alberto Claro, anmelder 'Melancholia' og ser i øvrigt nærmere på en anden kontroversiel mand, Bjørn Lomborg, og dokumentaren 'Cool It'.

Bjorn Lomborg, Danish environmental academic, infuriated scientists around the world when he published The Skeptical Environmentalist in 2001. The book claimed that overpopulation, destruction of resources, and global warming are not imminent problems. It would be a waste of time, Lomborg wrote, and even detrimental, if countries focused on environmental problems like global warming instead of on bigger problems such as worldwide poverty and disease.
